Ranger Rally Tuesday, 6/9

The first annual Ranger Rally will be held Tuesday, June 9th. Students have registered for community service projects in the morning--they will socialize cats at Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Society, clear trails on campus, plant trees, pick up trash along community roadways, raise money for Vermont Children's Hospital, craft on behalf of local organizations, and care for donkeys at Arnold's Rescue--before a picnic lunch. Students also registered for opportunities to play in the afternoon: Flag football, kickball, and Capture the Flag will engage students outside, as will corn hole and wiffle ball, while students who prefer quiet activities can play board games, engage in crafting, or compete in a chess tournament. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Students will meet up at the end of the day for a Glow Out Pep Rally. The goal of the day's activities is to serve and then celebrate before we have to leave each other for the summer vacation that begins next Wednesday, June 17th. We look forward to finding fun and cultivating community. This is the day's schedule:
