Governor's Institute of Vermont is a summer program for students in grades 9-11. Interested students can spend part of their summer in one of GIV's enrichment workshops exploring the Arts, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Global Issues & Youth Action, Health and Medicine, Mathematical Sciences, Technology & Design, or Weather & Climate Science. Each of these programs meets on a college campus in Vermont so students can have a taste of the college experience while immersing themselves in learning communities with students and staff who share their interests.
