When developing the Student Resource Center at Lake Region this year, we created a Backpack Program to ensure that students experiencing food insecurity could head home for the weekend with simple items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a quick snack. If a student you know could use a backpack containing easy to prepare meals, please encourage the student to connect with us in the Student Resource Center or call the school (extension 317) to identify the student who would benefit from this program.
