Have You Used a Wiki?
What is a Wiki? Why would I ever want to use one in class? A Wiki is
a web page that can be updated from anywhere by anyone. As such, every
possible use of a normal web page
applies, plus a Wiki offers specific advantages. A Wiki can be password
protected so that only certain people can edit it or even read it, or
a Wiki can be left open to the world. Web pages built using Wiki software
are quick and easy to update and do not require any special programming
knowledge. Learn more about
Wiki technology here, or discover ways to use a Wiki in your class
by reading about how other colleagues are using Wikis.

Blogs
and wikis: New writing spaces demand new forms
Mostly a discussion revolving around blogs, but the
general focus is online writing. A quote from the site: "Wikis
support drafting, commenting and revising all in the same space. Blogs
don't," he said. "Blogs encourage the quick blurb over the
studied revision." If you are interested in setting up a blog
instead of a wiki, Moodle
might be the tool for you.
