Learning how to use OSX.Applications
Most of your applications are found in the "Doc". A sample picture of a "Doc" is shown below.
As you move your mouse over icons in the doc, the name of the program will pop up to let you know what the icon stands for.
Another place to locate an application if you cannot find it in the doc, is to look for the application button in the button bar at the top of any window. It looks like the picture below. The application button is on the far right and looks like a large "A".
Network FoldersYou may access your network folders using 3 different methods.
Logging outLogging out of your folder is accomplished the say way that it used to be. Click on the server icon that appeared on the desktop when you logged in and drag it to the trash can. The trash icon will turn into a small "Eject" icon or "Disconnect" icon. Release the server icon over what used to be the trash icon and you will be logged out. Copyright © 2006, Lake Region Union
