GUIDANCE FYI:

* Upward Bound Students: Reminder there is a mandatory Upward Bound Meeting on Sunday, June 6th in the theater at Lyndon State College at 1:00. At this meeting, students will prepare for the summer, have pictures taken and fill out mandatory paperwork. Any students that are interested in WWLR as a radio DJ are asked to stay after the meeting for a brief meeting.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS:

* The Outdoor Club is hosting another canoe/Kayak trip Thursday after school. Please sign up with Cahill today so that we can plan for the appropriate number of boats. Summer PE students should see Cahill about this trip too because it can be part of Summer PE time.

ATHLETIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

* Over the weekend, LR track traveled to Essex to qualify for the New England Championships. Richie Hackett set a new official, Division III state triple jump record with an effort of 44 feet 4 and ¾ inches. Richie also placed first in the 300 meter hurdles. (see video)
The four by 800 meter relay team shattered the former school record with 5 second improvement! Mike Karasinski, Jordan Budziak, Seth Lawson and Tony Stewart ran a 8 minute 54 second contest for the record. Seth and Tony also ran for personal records in the 800 meter. Travis Terrell took second in the shot put with a new personal record of 45 feet 2 inches. Moving forward Rangers!
