Computer Use Rules

Computer use rules are generally covered by the acceptable use agreement. However, in an effort to make the rules clearer, more specific examples are posted here.

No cheat sites
No games or game sites
No joke sites
No music (regardless of headphones)
No downloading
No CD burning without prior permission
No email without prior permission
No chats (messenger or otherwise)
No installing of software
No admittance without a pass
No videos or DVD's, including online movie trailers
No loitering

General guideline for success

Ask yourself: Would I be comfortable using the computer for this purpose with the principal or superintendent watching? If the answer is no, then you shouldn't be using the computer for that purpose.

Consequences

If you are observed using a computer for any of the above listed purposes, you will be asked to stop using the computer immediately, and you will lose your computer privileges for a total of 4 weeks. If we have to repeat this process three times, you will lose your computer privileges for the remainder of the school year.
