MATHEMATICIAN'S PATHFINDER Mathematicians have existed from early times and some have achieved great fame. Each individual has been influenced by the time period in which they have lived. Things like housing conditions, food supplies, transportation, health, clothing styles, and government, just to mention a few factors, influence how people view the world and motivate them to seek answers to certain questions and problems. You must select a famous mathematican and discover how their world influenced their accomplishments and look at how their accomplishments continue to influence our world. BOOKS Use the LR's Destiny library catalog to discover any books about your mathematician. There are some reference books that you may use to locate information about your mathematicians:
