  • Grant Makes Leadership Retreat Possible

A grant by the Vermont Community Foundation made possible a two day leadership conference for Vermont Future Business Leaders of America State Officers.  The two day conference held at the Town and Country in Gorham, NH brought together student leaders from across New England.  The annual conference, sponsored by New Hampshire Career and Technical Student Organizations, focused on leadership, development of mission and challenged students to understand their own personal leadership style.

“As one of the smaller FBLA organizations in the US, attending this conference would not have been possible had we not received a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation.” states Sarah Emery, Executive Director of Vermont Future Business Leaders of America.  The Vermont Community Foundation, located in Middlebury, VT (http://www.vermontcf.org)  â€œ...is committed to building philanthropic resources that will sustain healthy and vital Vermont communities now and into the future. ..”
