The Introduction
to Drawing Unit is designed to give students the confidence and skill
they need to gain a foundation in the arts. By working with
different mediums- pencil, colored pencil, pastels, magic markers- students
learn ways of expressing themselves by experimenting with various creative
ways of making marks on paper. By working with self portraits, students
learn to overcome their fears of working with the human figure.
They also start to combine previously learned techniques to create a unified
composition. No prerequisites are required. |
